Overview

Navigating a gritty landscape of corrupt officials and ruthless mercenaries, the group must settle old scores while trying to survive a conflict that the world has forgotten. It’s a straightforward, punchy action flick that focuses on the pained bonds of brotherhood and the cost of leaving no one behind. THE PROS This is a win for anyone who misses the no-nonsense action movies of the 90s. It hits a 6 because it doesn't try to be anything it isn't—it’s an honest, gritty throwback. Tyrese Gibson gives a sincere, weary performance as a man carrying the weight of his past, and the chemistry with his pained crew feels lived-in.
