⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 6/10 THE SUMMARY When two down-on-their-luck marketing executives lose their jobs after a massive, high-profile blunder, they decide to drown their sorrows in a booze-fueled trip to a major sporting event. Naturally, things escalate from a few pints to a full-blown international incident. They find themselves hunted by a variety of eccentric characters, local authorities, and their own bad decisions across a chaotic, sun-drenched landscape. It’s a classic "buddy comedy" setup that leans heavily into physical humor, ridiculous coincidences, and the kind of "lads on tour" energy that feels like a throwback to the early 2000s. THE PROS This is a 6/10 because it’s a decent, "brain-off" Friday night watch. Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser are a surprisingly good pairing; Wahlberg plays the straight-man with his usual grit, while Hauser brings his elite comedic timing to the more absurd moments.
