⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 10/10 THE SUMMARY Steven Spielberg’s 1993 masterpiece is a haunting, monochromatic journey into the heart of the Holocaust. Liam Neeson stars as Oskar Schindler, a narcissistic German businessman and member of the Nazi party who initially sees the war as an opportunity to make a fortune using Jewish labor. However, as the horrors of the Kraków Ghetto and Plaszów concentration camp unfold under the sadistic command of Amon Göth (Ralph Fiennes), Schindler undergoes a profound transformation. Risking his life and spending his entire fortune, he outwits the SS to save more than 1,100 Jews from the gas chambers. It’s a staggering, honest look at the capacity for human cruelty and the incredible power of individual conscience.
