⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 7/10 THE SUMMARY The final chapter of the Skywalker Saga finds Rey (Daisy Ridley) grappling with her identity while training to be a Jedi, just as a mysterious broadcast reveals that Emperor Palpatine hasn't quite stayed dead. As Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) hunts for the source of this ancient evil to secure his own power, the Resistance—led by Finn and Poe—scours the galaxy for a "Wayfinder" to locate the hidden Sith world of Exegol. It’s a frantic, planet-hopping race against time that aims to tie up every loose thread from nine films, culminating in a massive showdown between the light and the dark for the fate of the galaxy. THE PROS The chemistry between the core trio—Rey, Finn, and Poe—is an absolute win; for the first time in the sequel trilogy, they actually feel like a sincere, tight-knit crew on a shared adventure. Adam Driver remains a total belter as Kylo Ren/Ben Solo, delivering a complex, physical performance that provides the film’s strongest emotional beats. Visually, it’s a celebratory explosion of Star Wars imagery, from the crashing waves of Kef Bir to the haunting, lightning-scarred atmosphere of Exegol. The film moves at a breakneck speed that keeps the energy high, and the return of Ian McDiarmid’s cackling Palpatine is the business for fans of old-school villainy. THE CONS It earns a 7/10 because the pacing is a sincere head-scratcher; it feels like two movies crammed into one, with new characters and MacGuffins introduced and discarded every ten minutes.
