It all leads to the legendary Battle of Brunanburh, where a dark prophecy—that seven kings must die before the land is unified—looms over everyone like a sharpened axe. THE PROS The production value is an absolute win; the gritty, muddy aesthetic of 10th-century Britain is captured with a sincere eye for detail.
