    ⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 6/10​ THE SUMMARY ​Mint drops you into the polished-but-cracked world of wealth, power, and the kind of people who say “it’s just business” while quietly ruining lives. At the centre is a story about ambition colliding with morality, where every decision feels like it comes with a hidden cost—and usually a smug smile from someone richer than you. What starts off sleek and controlled slowly unravels into something messier, as secrets pile up and the façade begins to slip.​ THE PROS ​The biggest win here is the vibe. It looks expensive, sounds expensive, and carries itself like it knows it belongs in the same room as bigger prestige dramas. The performances are solid across the board, with the lead doing a lot of heavy lifting—balancing charm and quiet desperation in a way that keeps you watching. There’s also a nice undercurrent of tension running through the episodes, where even casual conversations feel like they might turn into power plays.​ THE CONS ​For all its style, it doesn’t always have the substance to back it up. The pacing can feel uneven—some episodes glide, others drag their feet like they’re waiting for something more interesting to happen. A few plot threads feel undercooked, like they were introduced to sound clever but never fully explored. And while the characters are intriguing, they don’t always get enough depth to make you fully invest in their outcomes.​ THE VERDICT ​Mint is one of those shows that’s easy to get pulled into but slightly harder to stay obsessed with. Worth a binge if you’re into stylish dramas with a dark edge—but don’t expect it to completely consume your life.​ INSOMNIAC TRIVIA ​ The production leaned heavily into real-world luxury aesthetics—many of the locations and props were sourced from actual high-end brands to keep everything looking authentic. Also, several cast members reportedly improvised bits of dialogue during tense scenes, which is why some of the conversations feel a bit more natural (and occasionally a bit too real).​ THE VIBE ​ Like sipping an overpriced cocktail in a rooftop bar while overhearing a conversation that definitely sounds illegal—but you’re too intrigued to leave.
