THE PROS This is an amazing series because it manages to find a totally fresh perspective in a genre Attenborough has dominated for decades. It hits a 9 because the storytelling is incredibly intimate; seeing a boxer crab fight off a rival with anemone "pom-poms" to protect its eggs or a mother hippo acting as a formidable bodyguard is a total highlight. The 8K cinematography is stunning, capturing never-before-seen behaviors that feel honest and deeply moving. It’s a smart, sincere production that skips the "monster" vibes for a "family feels" approach, making it a fair shout for the most relatable nature documentary ever made. THE CONS It stays at a 9 because the focus on "cuter" and more domestic stories might feel a pained bit "lite" for those who prefer the massive, groundbreaking scale of *Planet Earth III*.
